Traveling to Princeton

Airports

Newark International Airport (EWR)

• 40-60 min drive (Taxis, Uber, Lift, rental cars available)
• Public transportation
• Collect your luggage and take the airtrain (free) to the New Jersey Transit (NJT) train station (the last stop). Buy a ticket from a ticket machine at the train station (or through the NJT website or app). That ticket will allow you to exit the train station and must be shown on the train. Buy a ticket to Princeton (not Princeton Junction). Take the NJT train to Princeton Junction (about 45 minutes), get off there and transfer to the Dinky Train, which will take you another 5 minutes to the Princeton University Campus.

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)

• 60 min drive (Taxis, Uber, Lift, rental cars available)

Trains

• If you are traveling semi-locally there are many Amtrak trains available into Princeton Junction
• Once at Princeton Junction, you can transfer to the NJT Dinky Train (5 min to Princeton's campus), take a campus or NJT bus (find schedules on Google Maps), or Uber/Lift to campus
