Traveling to Princeton? Helpful tips below!

Conference Venue

The conference will take place in Peretsman Scully Hall (Psychology building) on Princeton University's campus. Peretsman Scully Hall is also home to the Princeton Neuroscience Institute. Directions to either will get you to the right place!


Traveling to Princeton

Airports

Newark International Airport (EWR)

  • 45-60 min drive (Taxis, Uber, Lift, rental cars available)
  • Public transportation (Train)
  • Collect your luggage and take the Airtrain (free) to the New Jersey Transit (NJT) train stop. Buy a ticket there or online to Princeton Junction (to go to a hotel on route 1) or to Princeton. Follow signs to NJ Transit and then head toward Trenton.
  • You must get off the train at Princeton Junction (about 45 minutes). To get to Princeton proper (the conference and Nassau Inn), connect to the small Dinky Train, which will take you another 5 minutes to the Princeton University Campus.
  • 1-way ticket is $19.45 to Princeton Junction or $24.45 to Princeton

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)

  • 60 min drive (Taxis, Uber, Lift, rental cars available)

Shuttle from Hyatt to Conference Venue

A (free) shuttle is available from the Hyatt to the conference venue. Note: the drop off/pick up location for the conference will be in front of the Icahn building (a short walk from Peretsman Scully Hall). Please see the schedule below.

Thursday, June 4th

1pm: Hyatt to Peretsman Scully Hall* 

*Graduate student Kennedy Casey will meet shuttle in front of Icahn to guide to the conference (Peretsman Scully Hall) 

5pm: Peretsman Scully Hall to Hyatt 

Friday, June 5th 

7:45am: Hyatt to Peretsman Scully Hall 

7pm: Peretsman Scully Hall to Hyatt 

Saturday, June 6th

Parking

Applying for your parking permit for Stadium Garage:

Online on the day of your visit (recommended)

1.       Click to open the online parking permit portal.

2.       Select the date and time of your time on campus. The system defaults to the current date.

3.       Enter your email address and vehicle information - issuing state and license plate number. Click "Add".

4.       Click "Register". A confirmation will be emailed to you.

5.       When arriving at the garage, the gate will open automatically.

Getting permit at Stadium Drive Garage

1.       When arriving at the garage, pull a ticket to open the gates.

2.       Scan the QR code with your smart phone and follow the steps:

3.       Select the date and time of your time on campus. The system defaults to the current date.

4.       Enter your email address and vehicle information - issuing state and license plate number. Click "Add".

5.       Click "Register". A confirmation will be emailed to you.

Getting to Stadium Drive Garage

When navigating to campus:

·        Enter Stadium Drive Garage, Princeton, NJ.

·        Follow signs to Stadium Drive Garage to park and either walk to your destination or catch TigerTransit, which operates frequently from the transit hub outside the garage.
